The hundreds of churches of Rome

We do not know exactly how many churches there are in Rome,  but there are hundreds of them, many of them worthwhile to visit.

The St. Peter's is considered to be by far the largest and most famous of the Churches of Rome. Many do not realise that this church is not actually in Rome, but in Vatican City! The world famous Pietà by Michelangelo and Bernini's Square alone are more then enough reason to visit this church.

Visit also the other Three Arch basilics of Rome! The San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo fuori le Mura. These beautiful churches all have a distinguished papal altar, a papal seat and a Holy Door, which is only opened by the pope and only in a Holy Year.

But the many smaller churches in Rome are also real treasures. Visit with your guide churches like the San Clemente or the San Luigi dei Francesi and you won't be disappointed

Hoi Eline, wat hebben we genoten. De drie dagen dat we met jou als gids door Rome zijn gegaan waren fantastisch, wat weet je toch veel over Rome en alle kunstwerken, hoe je erover praat was zeer boeiend en interessant.. Bedankt voor alles, top geregeld !!!

Wat een fantastische rondleiding en we genoten vooral van hoe je het leven blies in de geschiedenis om ons heen! Je voelde feilloos aan in wat voor informatie wij interesse hadden en niets was je teveel. Ontzettend bedankt voor een informatieve, professionele en gezellige morgen.

Beste Eline,
We willen je bij deze nogmaals hartelijk danken voor de gidstoer. Het was voor ons echt een meerwaarde bij ons bezoek aan deze prachtige stad. Het was een boeiende toer op maat met veel interessante weetjes die we niet snel zullen vergeten. Om te herhalen!

We hebben een super verlof gehad.
Je hebt ons heel wat laten zien en heel veel informatie gegeven. Ik en Sven vonden jou enorm goed in het gidsen. Je vertelde ons héél veel en heel vlot. Het was super aangenaam om met jou doorheen Rome te trekken. Ik zal jou zeker aanbevelen als gids. Veel succes met het verdere gidsen en veel plezier met Georgia.
