The hundreds of churches of Rome

We do not know exactly how many churches there are in Rome,  but there are hundreds of them, many of them worthwhile to visit.

The St. Peter's is considered to be by far the largest and most famous of the Churches of Rome. Many do not realise that this church is not actually in Rome, but in Vatican City! The world famous Pietà by Michelangelo and Bernini's Square alone are more then enough reason to visit this church.

Visit also the other Three Arch basilics of Rome! The San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo fuori le Mura. These beautiful churches all have a distinguished papal altar, a papal seat and a Holy Door, which is only opened by the pope and only in a Holy Year.

But the many smaller churches in Rome are also real treasures. Visit with your guide churches like the San Clemente or the San Luigi dei Francesi and you won't be disappointed

Eline, dank je voor de geweldige dag die je ons hebt bezorgd. Colosseum, het Forum, een perfecte lunchlocatie en sightseeing per golfkarretjes. Het was voor de hele groep echt heel leerzaam en leuk. Een half jaar voordat wij in Rome arriveerde heb ik Eline overspoelt met vragen. Eline reageerde snel en gaf zeer nuttige informatie.
In Rome was Eline het middelpunt van informatie die verder rijkt dan vooraf gedacht. Eline was tevens door haar humor een haar fijne persoonlijkheid een genot om naar te luisteren.
Mocht u opzoek zijn naar de Nederlandse gids in Rome, twijfel niet om Eline te contacteren.

We hebben Eline 3 dagen als gids in Rome gehad en dat is ons prima bevallen. Wij kunnen Eline aanraden als persoonlijke gids in Rome. Veel kennis, feiten, verhalen, etc. die je tot je krijgt tijdens het ontdekken van Rome.

hoi Eline,
bedankt voor de superleuke midag ik heb er erg van genoten en vond het super mooi!
het was heel erg warm weer en veel trappen lopen maar toch was het de moeite waard ik vondt het super leuk en mischien zie ik je nog wel een keer!
