The hundreds of churches of Rome

We do not know exactly how many churches there are in Rome,  but there are hundreds of them, many of them worthwhile to visit.

The St. Peter's is considered to be by far the largest and most famous of the Churches of Rome. Many do not realise that this church is not actually in Rome, but in Vatican City! The world famous Pietà by Michelangelo and Bernini's Square alone are more then enough reason to visit this church.

Visit also the other Three Arch basilics of Rome! The San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo fuori le Mura. These beautiful churches all have a distinguished papal altar, a papal seat and a Holy Door, which is only opened by the pope and only in a Holy Year.

But the many smaller churches in Rome are also real treasures. Visit with your guide churches like the San Clemente or the San Luigi dei Francesi and you won't be disappointed

Hoi Eline, wat hebben we genoten. De drie dagen dat we met jou als gids door Rome zijn gegaan waren fantastisch, wat weet je toch veel over Rome en alle kunstwerken, hoe je erover praat was zeer boeiend en interessant.. Bedankt voor alles, top geregeld !!!

Hoi Eline,
Het klopt wat ze hier allemaal over jou vertellen, we hebben hetzelf mogen ervaren hoe goed en spontaan jij bent in jou hobby/werk, nogmaals we hebben genoyen van de drie trips die wij met jou hebben mogen maken, Fiets, Collosseum en natuurlijk het het Vativaan en wat daar allemaal bijhoort.

Bedankt voor een fijne vakantie in Rome.

Bedankt Eline voor de boeiende rondleiding en alle hulp vooraf.
We hebben er van genoten. Wat weet jij veel te vertellen over het mooie, oude Rome! Als we terug komen, boeken we zeker weer bij jou een rondleiding. Groetjes uit Terneuzen!!

Schitterend!
Wij waren een Vlaamse groep van 4 volwassenen en 4 'kinderen' van 4 tot 17 jaar.
Sommigen zagen Rome al, anderen waren er voor het eerst.
Perfecte uitleg: de grote geschiedenis vertaald naar vandaag tot en met de leuke wist-je-dat-jes.
De fietstocht op de eerste dag als overzicht en de 'oortjes' zodat iedereen altijd alles hoort zijn super.
Voor elk Vlaams groepje dat naar Rome gaat: probeer Eline te boeken!
